Eric Ling

I am a postdoc researcher in the GeoTop group at the University of Copenhagen. Before coming to Copenhagen, I had postdoc positions at the Fields Institute, as part of the Thematic Program on Nonsmooth Riemannian and Lorentzian Geometry, at Rutgers University, and at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. I completed my PhD in 2019 under the supervision of Greg Galloway.

My research interests include geometric analysis with applications to spacetime singularities and Lorentzian geometry, (in)-extendibility of spacetimes, and the general-relativsitic hydrogen problem. Here is a collection of my publications.

In the summer of 2025, I am co-organizing a masterclass in Copenhagen on geometric relativity with Annachiara Piubello and Niels Martin Møller.
